Rivian has now passed 1000 charger locations across its own network. The InsideEVs report tracks the addition of new stalls in the US and Canada over recent quarters.
Deployment Pace
The company added sites at a consistent rate through 2025 and into 2026. This work runs alongside production ramp for existing R1 vehicles. The Rivian Q1 2026 Shareholder Letter lists the total stalls and uptime metrics without projecting future targets beyond current contracts.
Network Scope
Most locations remain concentrated near Rivian adventure routes and major highways. The network stays separate from Tesla Superchargers and the CCS-based Electrify America system. Access stays limited to Rivian owners for now, with no open roaming agreements announced.
AutonomyEV's opinion
Operators tracking charger utilization should watch actual uptime data rather than site counts alone. Rivian files show steady additions, yet the scale stays modest compared with legacy networks. The R2 launch will test whether this infrastructure supports higher volumes without external partnerships.
