Li Auto reported 33,347 total deliveries in May. The Li i6 all-electric SUV alone reached 20,878 units and accounted for 62.60 percent of the volume, according to CnEVPost.

Delivery Split

The remaining models combined for just over 12,000 units. Older extended-range vehicles continued to lose ground as the company shifts resources toward the pure-electric i6 platform.

Company Strategy

Li Auto has stated it will expand i6 production capacity through the rest of 2026. No new battery or autonomy updates were detailed in the monthly release posted on the company investor site at Li Auto IR.

AutonomyEV's opinion

The i6 share shows buyers responded to the lower price and simpler powertrain. Sustained volume will depend on whether Li Auto can hold margins while scaling the new line and whether competing models from NIO and XPeng cut into the same segment.
